'''The Canyon''' ({{ja|渓谷|Keikoku}}, ''Canyon'') is the twenty-second stage of the [[Subspace Emissary]] in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''.

==Overview==
The Canyon immediately follows the events of [[Glacial Peak]].  The group at the base of the peak, consisting of {{SSBB|Lucas}}, the {{SSBB|Pokémon Trainer}}, {{SSBB|Marth}}, {{SSBB|Ike}} and the {{SSBB|Ice Climbers}}, is overrun by [[Shadow Bug]]s released from the [[Halberd]] flying above them.  From a cliff above, {{SSBB|Mario}}, {{SSBB|Pit}}, {{SSBB|Link}}, {{SSBB|Yoshi}}, and {{SSBB|Kirby}} see their predicament and jump downwards to attack the incoming members of the [[Subspace Army]]. The 2 groups are forced to be joined together after this, now becoming the Canyon team. 

Note that the first time through, one can only use Mario, Pit, Link, Yoshi, and Kirby, and cannot use the other five characters, even though they are able to battle.

The entire stage consists of one [[ambush]].

*This is one of the only levels without [[door]]s, along with [[Midair Stadium]], [[The Ruined Hall]], and [[Battleship Halberd Bridge]].
*This is the only stage in the Subspace Emissary to be nothing but an [[ambush]].
*This level and [[Sea of Clouds]] are the only levels that do not conclude with a cutscene.
