Can't add the template myself because the page is protected, but I say we should delete this and {{t|forwiiu}}. We don't have these for any other Smash game, so why should these be any different? I know they're already used on some pages, but we could just replace the template with the text on those pages. :It's a useful shortcut, which is a completely typical and acceptable reason to use a template. ::By that logic, shouldn't we have shortcut templates for the other games too? Or do these get a pass because their names are longer? [[User:Awesomelink234|<span style="font-size:10pt;background:#00FF20;border:outset #083 2px;padding:1px 3px;color:#050DF7">Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Gamer</span>]] ([[User talk:Awesomelink234|talk]]) 15:01, April 8, 2021 (EDT)
:::I'd much rather the wiki makes shortcuts for the other games instead. For smash 4 as a whole, probably just a template:smash 4 instead of ssb4 could distinguish it from the character redirects. [[Special:Contributions/72.219.72.215|72.219.72.215]] 15:45, April 8, 2021 (EDT)
::::The payoff is less worth it for the shorter titles. This and its Wii U counterparts are more of a special case than something I would advise extending to other game titles. '''Oppose'''. In my opinion it's much easier typing out any other ''Smash'' title than "''Super Smash Bros. for 3DS" or "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U''". The shortcuts are also especially helpful for Smasher and tournament articles. :'''Oppose''' - it makes typing the entire thing easier, and I certainly messed up once or twice trying to type entire thing manually. Also per Miles. [[User:Superbound|Superbound]] ([[User talk:Superbound|talk]]) 11:48, April 10, 2021 (EDT)
::'''Oppose''' - The reason Smash 4 has these shortcuts while Smash 64, Melee, Brawl and Ultimate don't is because Smash 4 is split into different versions, one on the Wii U and one on the 3DS. Of course Ultimate doesn't need this kind of template because it's exclusive to the Switch, so there shouldn't be any need for a <nowiki>{{forswitch}}</nowiki>.
