'''VGBootCamp''' (fully named '''Video Game Boot Camp''', often abbreviated as '''VGBC''') is a premier smash live-stream/media producing company and crew founded at the end of 2009 by {{Sm|GimR}} and {{Sm|Aposl}}. VGBootCamp's mission is to grow and strengthen the fighting game community, particularly the ''Smash'' community. The group runs one of the most popular weekly ''Smash Bros.'' tournaments, [[Smash @ Xanadu]], with [[Smasher:TheTantalus|Tantalus]] as [[TO]]. It consists of most Smash games as well as other fighting games, like Street Fighter V and Rivals of Aether. It has become well established for presenting and broadcasting Smash tournaments of all scales quite professionally. 

VGBootCamp occasionally runs an event in the after hours of tournaments named the "Salty Suite",  in which many money matches and exhibition matches between notable players are featured. Tournaments that have had this event so far include [[Apex 2014]], [[Kings of Cali 4]],  [[Pound 2016]], [[Apex 2015]], and [[Apex 2022]].

VGBootCamp was known for popularizing the ''[[Brawl]]'' mod ''[[Project M]]'' with S@X, but they eventually decided to drop streaming ''Project M'' and removed existing ''Project M'' YouTube channel videos; {{sm|GimR}} explained that the reasoning for this was that the shaky legal status of Project M associated with Nintendo was a risk to VGBC as a business.<ref>[http://smashboards.com/threads/vgbootcamp-regarding-project-m.390087/]</ref>

On July 30th, 2016, almost 12 thousand videos had their name changed to SF5 Smash 4 - Serge (Lucario) Vs.
