Splyce (SPY), formerly known as FolloweSports.com, was an American esports team. The team was strongly associated with their website, splyce.gg, which used to be a TV Guide of esports. Splyce was owned by the Canadian company OverActive Media in 2018. Eventually, in 2019, the team merged with the other team owned by OverActive Media, MAD Lions, transferring Splyce's remaining rosters to MAD Lions.
On August 24th, 2015, FolloweSports.com signed Nintendude and MacD as their first Smash players. The team rebranded as Splyce a few months later. On May 11th, 2017, Splyce signed the veteran Cactuar as coach of their Smash division.[1] However, on October 19th, 2017, Splyce announced its retirement of the Smash scene and the departure of their Smash players.[2]
