'''G2 Esports''' ('''G2'''), formerly known as '''G2 Kinguin''' after its title sponsor, is a Spanish professional esports organization currently headquarted in Berlin, Germany. It was founded as ''League of Legends'' team in February 2014 by former SK Gaming star midlaner Ocelote, and were initially named '''Gamers2'''. By the time they rebranded as G2 Esports in November 2015, the team had already begun to branch into other games, including ''Hearthstone: Heroes of WarCraft'' and ''Counter Strike: Global Offensive''. They became in a few years one of the biggest esports organizations in the world, with several top performances across multiple games, notably in Europe, as well as a massive fanbase, dubbed the G2 Army.
