'''Cloud9''' ('''C9''') is a professional esports organization based in the United States. ''League of Legends'' player Hai Lam founded the organization in 2013 as a ''LoL'' team, and since it quickly became successful, it also has expanded into ''Hearthstone: Heroes of WarCraft'', ''Dota 2'', ''Counter Strike: Global Offensive'', ''Smite'' and ''World of WarCraft''.

They also opened a division for ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' on May 6th, 2014, with {{Sm|Mango}} as its first sponsor player. In 2016, they added {{Sm|Ally}} as their first ''Smash 4'' player and {{Sm|Tafokints}} as an official coach for Mango. However, both Ally and Tafokints left in 2018 and Mango remained their only ''Smash'' player under contract since then.
