(Hey, im new here so if im doing this wrong, i apologize, hopefully i didnt misunderstand what the "how to edit" page meant about how to make a new heading)
Ive noticed recently there has been places for a Toon Link victory theme, which had no information or source and has since been removed, and a Corrin victory theme now, which still has no source but at least its being described now. Is there anyone who can prove if these two characters actually have new unique victory themes, or is this the work of some troll?

Certainly there are arguments for either side, but it seems very odd to me that only Metaknight would be the exception (possibly the distinction lies with his uniquely ambiguous and mysterious allegiance), and I was curious if anyone knew or could theorize any explanations for this, whether relating to thier game roles, or perhaps something from a more practical developmental standpont.

:: Sakurai mentioned he wanted to do it in his bloggish sort of thing before the Dojo as we know it went up. As for why MK got special treatment, it's clear Sakurai has a teeny bit of favoritism regarding his characters (two kirby newcomers, all kirby characters play important roles in SSE, he voices Dedede etc.)

I would like to be able to include a brief sentence in the article, if it can be appropriately articulated.Zixor (talk) 06:32, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

I would like bowser's theme, the Ganondorf fanfare, and special treatment for more characters. Anyway, I would suggest turning this to the forums. :Lifelight is Ultimate's main theme, and Battlefield is a remix of it. Hence, I believe that portion should stay as is. == Wario's victory theme ==
Wario's victory theme in Smash does not come from Wario Land Shake It, of couse, proven by the "references" section of this article (although, some articles in this wiki still say otherwise, for some reason).
However, i want to discuss that, unlike what this article (as well some other ones from this wiki) say, Wario's victory theme might not be completely made up for Smash; in which, the possible source where that theme came from is from the jingle that plays when a player wins a microgame in Wario's stage in WarioWare Touched: https://youtu.be/AAcGkRqzdY0?t=235
I might be acting a bit (if not, completely) tone deaf with this one, but i think it's the jingle that matches the best with Wario's victory theme in the Smash series, and it would kinda make sense being the case considering the amount of stuff we have from WarioWare Touched just in Brawl alone.181.220.102.161 (talk • contribs) 21:55, July 27, 2022  (GMT-3)
:I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed by Sakurai or some noteworthy source that Wario's victory theme came from Wario Land Shake It. As for the video that you linked, the WarioWare jingle sounds nothing like the Smash victory theme. ::It literally was said by the composer himself that no, Wario's victory theme in Smash does not come from Shake It. Nintendo gave him that track (along with other songs from Wario's games) to use as reference for some tracks for Shake It: https://www.heypoorplayer.com/2017/03/17/tomoya-tomita-interview/ --181.220.102.161 (talk • contribs) 22:57, July 27, 2022  (GMT-3)
:::"In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wario’s victory theme was an arrangement of the Stonecarving City theme from Shake It!, which hadn’t yet come out. Were you involved in this special cameo?"
:::"No, that was another piece I received from Nintendo. I didn’t do anything for Brawl."
:::So, from what I'm reading, Tomoya didn't compose the victory theme, not that the theme isn't from Shake It!. There's also that Stonecarving City is extremely close to the victory theme regardless. It is also possible that Nintendo liked the Stonecarving City theme and gave it to another composer to remix for the victory theme; the games were released within 6 months of each other, sounds possible to me. --CanvasK (talk) 22:34, July 27, 2022 (EDT)
::::Read the rest of the article CanvasK. Nintendo gave him three pieces of music from other games that Wario appeared in for him to use as reference for the soundtrack of Shake It, which just so happens to include Wario's victory theme in Smash.
::::"Minako Hamano-san is also listed as a music credit. Did you two collaborate together?"
::::"We didn’t actually collaborate. Right when I began the project, Nintendo sent me three pieces used in previous Wario titles (one of which was Greenhorn Ruins) and said, “Here—use these.” I imagine Hamano-san composed those."
::::Not to mention his quote saying "another piece I received from Nintendo" when talking about Wario's victory theme. --181.220.102.161 (talk • contribs) 23:51, July 27, 2022  (GMT-3)
(reset indent) So I read the half of the interview relevant to Wario. What the composer is saying is that he first received Wario's victory theme from Nintendo and was told to use it in Shake It, which is what we have written down on the wiki. Since it wasn't used in any previous Wario title (as it was a piece created specifically for Brawl), it does not fit the "three pieces used in previous Wario titles" description and therefore is likely an original tune a Smash composer made. :I should add, saying that the piece "might" not come be completely made for Smash is speculation, which we do not allow on the wiki. ::That's exactly why i bother to coment anything about Wario's victory theme in Smash on this talk page in the first place mate, to fact check something before doing an excessive amount of edits on muliple articles of this wiki with a information that might've not been true at all. --181.220.102.161 (talk • contribs) 00:58, July 28, 2022  (GMT-3)
