::In both cases, the result is the same: Thoron will disappear before making it all the way across the stage. (It may be necessary to go into Training Mode and set the camera fixed in order to have enough of the stage visible onscreen at once to observe this.) -Goggleness (talk) 19:51, 20 October 2016 (EDT)

:::Tested this myself, in The Great Cave Offensive, it disappears when it's by the top left hill. Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 20:48, 20 October 2016 (EDT)

I'm not gonna slap a move tag on it because I think it would be an awful name, but what exactly makes the difference between this page just being "Thunder" verses Frizz / Frizzle / Kafrizz and Flare / Megaflare / Gigaflare? TheNuttyOne 18:47, December 22, 2020 (EST)
:If I recall correctly, when Hero originally came out, the move was just "Frizz" for consistency with this page. Then later on, it was decided to move Frizz to the three-part name, which Sephiroth then followed; Thunder just hasn't been moved to retroactively fit the pattern. As you bring up, it would be an awful and overly-long name anyway. ~ <span style="color: #e68;">StrawberryChan</span> (talk) 18:58, December 22, 2020 (EST)
::The Move List also lists it as simply "Thunder", whereas the others mentioned have all variations listed in their title with slashes. --CanvasK (talk) 18:59, December 22, 2020 (EST)
