| ==Melee is the worst smash game.==
| |
| disclamer: Melee is still a good game but not as AMAZING!!! as other fans say.
| |
| #1 the solo player part is lacking
| |
| #2 the character selection is unbalanced
| |
| #3 the skilled players use overpowered fighters like Marth and Fox.
| |
| #4 the fans take advantage of the game's flaws like how the character selection is unbalanced.

| == Latest Information on Melee's Development ==
| |
|
| |
| Since discussions like this one were never resolved or corrected, it makes me wonder what other information we can use to improve this article. For example, we know that the opening movie did include Mewtwo's Shadow Ball, and we do have the proof to confirm it via a post in late 2001 or early 2002 by Sakurai himself via responding to a fan's question on Smabura-Ken's questionnaire. Does it make more sense to include more detailed information on development on this page or the Unused content page? | :Probably on the unused content page, if we're talking about development stuff. Also, I think that the thing hitting Donkey Kong was Samus' fully charged Charge Shot, for the record. -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 15:31, August 6, 2024 (EDT)

| == I found something odd within my Melee instruction booklet. ==
| |
|
| |
| On page 48 of my Melee instruction booklet, I noticed something odd. In the screenshot to the left of Kirby, I saw that the text said: "You've cleared 100-Man Melee for the first time!" Nothing odd about that, but the date next to it said "02.01.2024." But...the copyright text at the front of the booklet said 2001 Nintendo! I think that this is an original Melee instruction booklet from 2001, but I can't be sure about that as I bought my copy of Melee earlier this year, so I don't know for sure if the booklet is a reproduction or not. It probably isn't, but still...I have doubts. Surely the developers wouldn't have manipulated that one screenshot to make the date say 2024. I don't see how that would help anything. Does anyone else's Melee instruction booklet have this odd date? -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 15:38, August 6, 2024 (EDT)
| |
| :It is in the original booklet. It had a bit of attention on it around the listed date, with some people attempting to get that milestone on that date to commemorate it. Here is PTAS doing so. --CanvasK (talk) 15:45, August 6, 2024 (EDT)
| |
| ::Oh, cool. Does anyone know why it says 2024? I mean, was it a bug or something that made the date appear like that, or was the screenshot edited to say 2024 as opposed to whenever the screenshot was taken? It couldn't have been 2024 when it was taken and added to the booklet. I want to get to the bottom of this. -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 16:00, August 6, 2024 (EDT)

| :::Considering one can easily change the time and date in the GameCube system settings, it is likely of no particular significance.
