The article states that all ground mobility related buffs affect initial dash and run speeds equally. However, in reality initial dashes seem to not increase anywhere near as much as run speeds, which can be clearly seen using significant ground mobility buffs. The specifics of how this works should probably be documented, or the article will be misleading. :They have the same values in Meshima's spreadsheet (except for Dash Attack ↑ and Runner style). It's possible that initial dashes are affected by the same limits as running and walking. Would definitely need to test it more. --CanvasK (talk) 12:09, April 7, 2022 (EDT)

::Mario's dash animation is 29 frames long, testing in game it is also 29 regardless if I use my max speed or min speed spirits. The trans bone also either doesn't move or moves very little for all characters (Mario doesn't have any keyframes defined other than the one to initialize). This rules out it being how running and walking behave. More testing <s>and time</s> is needed. --CanvasK (talk) 13:10, April 7, 2022 (EDT)
:::ground_speed_limit = 3 <small><s>good night</s></small>. On a more serious note, I did some pixel counting and got around 3u/f on the characters I tested. This is not something unique to spirits as Bunny Hood easily reaches this limit on most characters. Maybe list it somewhere on the page since people probably won't check Dash if we only have it there. I didn't find the value in Smash 4's params, so it either isn't labelled, is a different value, or didn't exist in that game; would have to test it but I don't want to do that at the moment.
:::Some other findings:
:::*The character moves at their dash speed from frames 2-6 (e.g. Mario will be 0 on frame 1, then go to 1.936 frame 2 and stay at that speed up to frame 6), afterwards they lose speed equal to their traction (assuming the stick was tapped). I only tested this on Mario but I did at least frames 1-5 for the others and they maintained the speed in that period.
:::*The multipliers are 1:1 (i.e. 1.5x mult = 1.5x more speed) as one would expect.
Trivia
Should there be a note in the trivia section to not say that the evil ryu spirit is the last spirit? I also wasn’t the account that put that in there today. 174.55.24.64 18:06, June 3, 2022 (EDT)
:It's not a big enough deal in my opinion. And we can see who added it, it was a different IP. --CanvasK (talk) 18:09, June 3, 2022 (EDT)
Template?
Umm Hi. I'm creating a google doc of Smash Bros Ideas I have and I wanted a link to the template you use for the spirit battles (the version with the inspiration) Sorry to disturb you, believe me I looked everywhere else, even the Category:Templates page but I could not find anything so yeah. I love this wiki so much I might join it properly sometimes <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by 45.29.84.77 (talk • contribs) 20:17, March 9, 2023 (EST)</small>
:The only templates used for Spirit Battles are SpiritTableName (which simply displays the name and image of the spirit) and SpiritType (which displays the type icon). Everything is manually inserted into the tables. --CanvasK (talk) 20:23, March 9, 2023 (EST)
