Does anyone know the frame window between tapping a direction and pressing attack for a Smash Attack to occur? Does it vary by character and/or direction? Would be useful information to add to the article. :Well, I know that in Brawl, you have to push the stick 80% sideways in 5 frames to f-smash, and 66.25% vertically in 4 frames to u/d-smash, but I can't find how long after that you can press the attack button to get a smash attack. I think with f-smash it can be anytime before dash turns into run, and for u-smash it can be anytime before you jump off the ground, but for d-smash I have no idea.
