| Capcom Japan handed the rights for Street Fighter over to Capcom USA a while back when the IP was still dormant so they could license it out overseas and maybe squeeze a profit out of it, so they technically have control over what happens with the property, but Capcom USA ultimately answers to Capcom Japan so it doesn't mean much.
