| In the first paragraph, it says it was possible to send replays to Nintendo for Smash Service. So you can't now?<span style="border:2px outset #fc2;background-color:#117;-moz-border-radius:7px"><font style="font-family:Arial BLack;"><span style="color:#fc5">Smoreking</span><span style="color:#117"></span><span style="color:#fc5">xg456</span></font></span> 14:43, 26 November 2008 (UTC) | | In the first paragraph, it says it was possible to send replays to Nintendo for Smash Service. | == Video File on PC ==
| |
|
| |
| I read the article and understand a replay is not saved as a video recording of the match but the input data from the match instead.
| |
|
| |
| However how do you save it as video file so that say you can save it on your computer and the likes? Is there a program or some method you can use?
| |
|
| |
| I would realy appreciate assistance provided please and thank you very much in advance. :) 120.151.88.10 01:47, 10 September 2011 (EDT)

| :People usually use a capture card on their Wii. There isn't really any other simple method to get a replay into a video file. | == It is possible to record over-10-minutes-long matches on Brawl ==
| |
| This article mentions "even with this hack, however, replays over 10 minutes do not function properly, as replays stop saving inputs beyond the 10 minute mark."
| |
|
| |
| This is not true, I just recorded and replayed a 12-minutes-long match on Brawl with this Gecko code and it worked flawlessly. Perhaps the limit is still close to 10 minutes, but I would have to test it more. Of course, I haven't recorded that many replays yet, and replays are known to not work even without hacks sometimes.

| :Are we talking NTSC or PAL here? Given that a different code is needed for both of them, it could be a version difference. <span style="font-family:Chiller;font-size:18px;text-shadow:0px 0px 3px #222"><span style="color:#d50">Serpent</span> <span style="color:#d50">King</span></span> 22:54, 10 September 2016 (EDT)

| ::NTSC revision 1.01. I don't really have any other Brawl version to test it on, so. I have seen a PAL cheat code versions of this feature but they might be outdated unlike the NTSC versions (the version of the cheat I am using was updated because older versions were pretty unstable, as it says on the forum post), so yeah, it might vary between versions.

| == Head icon glitch ==
| |
|
| |
| I was going to add the head icon glitch, but it seems to have already been added. However, I did notice something the picture posted here and the pictures I took have in common: both have R.O.B.'s head icon not showing up. Could someone look further into this, perhaps? | :Perhaps this is something to do with R.O.B.'s default costume being different between versions? | == Smash 4’s max time limit? ==
| |
|
| |
| I’ve been able to save replays up to around 20 minutes. I couldn’t really find a pattern of sorts, so I assume it’s based on your remaining storage space? I was, however, able to save quite a few replays that long and the time limit never seemed to go down. Theroux (talk) 03:56, March 28, 2019 (EDT)

| :I see no harm in it. The information can be useful for locating the files or for people who need to edit and have their output be 1:1 with what the game sees. --CanvasK (talk) 13:56, April 5, 2021 (EDT)
