Fandangox is correct. It's just a basic Pokemon Trainer using Red's remade design. His voice even is similar to Ash's anime voices, showing how much of a reference to both he is. That, and he specifically isn't Ash either(as Sakurai shot down some time ago). What makes this more odd is that he only lists FR/LG as the origin when Red appears in far more games. Then again, he has a bad habit of listing incorrect information. For instance, both Sheik and Zelda's Light Arrows apparently originate in Brawl? Only Sheik's did, but Zelda's was from Twilight Princess(well, actually Wind Waker, but the version they used of Zelda is from a different game). I'd take the trophy saying "where he's from" with a grain of salt right now and only pay attention the description. Which is blatant what he is of this time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by HyperFalcon (talk • contribs) 03:43, July 29, 2008 (EST)

2 questions
I have 2 questions.
1. What happens when a pokemon gets tired?
2. Is it really necessary for Squirtle to be able to drown? I mean, it is a water pokemon so it should be able to swim. PokeLuver (talk) 21:40, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
Gallery request
Could someone make a gallery of where PT stands on each stage? Saying "it's on this platform" is sometimes ambiguous, and a gallery would make it clearer. == Question about one of the trivia facts ==
The second to last trivia fact says that the balls go to/come from the wrong pockets on the bag, but isn't that irrelevant seeing as the bag is where the unused pokeballs are stored, and pokeballs with pokemon in them are stored on the belt? :Go contribute to the PT matchup thread on SmashBoards, and they might change it. (Might.) well, i am actually the guy that was "in charge" of the thread that those ratios are based off of, although there is a new (and empty) thread going up soon by someone else. i was more wondering how i could change it here, on the site.

His Withdraw catchphrases.
I'm uncertain that the words he says changes depending on how many KO's his pokemon achieve. He has said Amazing job, despite the fact that there hasn't even been 6 KO's done total by everyone (although I am quite aware that the article says the KO's dealt by his pokemon, I say done by everyone as a total, to make a point). It seems to me more likely, that the words he says, is determined by 3 things. 1, how long a pokemon has been out. 2, how much damage that pokemon may have dealt. And 3, how much damage that pokemon has taken during its time out. Can we look into this again? Learner4 (talk) 15:58, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
:I don't know why this issue hasn't been adressed yet. I don't know exactly what causes the different phrases, but it seems to be related to a combination of time out and damage dealt, with "Amazing Job" basically always occuring if at least one KO was obtained. If anyone knows the exact details, please update the article with them, or at least explain them here. ==Unnecessary Info in the Intro==
Anyone else think that some of the information in the intro should be removed? While all of it is true, having a massive amount of info in the intro hurts the pacing, as well as the fact that it all could be placed elsewhere. Even the tag at the top says this article is way too long compared to other character articles. Who else agrees with me? :It doesn't belong in the intro, that's for sure, but it does belong in the article somewhere. Toomai Glittershine Le Grand Fromage 12:12, 25 August 2013 (EDT)

Special Move tables: Vine Whip
I’d put this on the talk page of the actual table but I don’t know where to access it so I’m putting it here. The table of special moves on this page says Ivysaur’s up special in Ultimate is currently unconfirmed. I had to do some digging, but I found a video of him using Vine Whip seemingly just as it was in Brawl: https://youtu.be/KJeBylrZqUg it’s about 1:12 in. Not sure if this constitutes changing it but I assume that’s still the up special. Aykrivwassup (talk) 00:39, 23 June 2018 (EDT)
