I'm going to be changing Pit's Changes from Brawl section to say that he was nerfed. He was nerfed quite a bit in the transition and despite the buffs, they don't seem to compensate. He has a small playerbase, and some players seem to be dropping him in favor of Dark Pit due to Electroshock arm, At tool that Pit has no access to. If anyone disagrees, let me know.Nightgengale (talk) 09:11, 23 January 2016 (EST)

:Being ranked 18/56 in Smash 4 is better than being ranked 17/38 in Brawl (17 and 18 are one spot apart, but Smash 4's cast is significantly bigger). I think you were too quick to judge Pit, especially since Pit did not have particularly impressive results in Brawl outside of Earth (and Koolaid, to a lesser extent). As for Smash 4, Earth is once again the main one representing Pit, having some solid results, including tournament wins in Japan (winning Pre-KVO 2015, beating Ranai twice in the process) and placing Top 16 at GENESIS 3. On top of that, Nairo also had solid wins with Pit when he actively used him as a main. ::Slow down buddy. This new tier list will inevitably change. Looking at all of the data, Pit was nerfed, but may be considered better relative to the cast. Nairo doesn't play the pits anymore, and when he did, he often chose DP over Pit. Give it time is all i'm saying. There are some things on the new tier list that I think everyone disagrees with, and certain character placements reek of bias. Pit has better results in Japan true, but remember that in Brawl he was considered top 8, and he has ALWAYS had more rep and results in Japan. But in AMERICA, he has always had notably less.Nightgengale (talk) 13:05, 2 February 2016 (EST)
:::"More rep in Japan for Brawl" is a bit of an exaggeration... Earth and Musashi (I actually forgot about Musashi earlier when I wrote my previous comment, whoops) were the only Japanese Pit players in Brawl that were getting any results. :::Either way, Pit was much higher on the japanese brawl tier list. Besides, the tier list page admits that the relevancy of the tier list for sm4sh is debatable anyways.Nightgengale (talk) 15:01, 2 February 2016 (EST)
::::OBJECTION!! Pit was nerfed directly, but aren't we going to count the removal of hitstun and momentum cancelling as an indirect buff? His increased speed and the nerf of many fighters also brings indirect buffs. I would seriously consider saying he was nerfed, and yep, he was a high tier in Brawl in Japan, but the tier list used here is NTSC, so... he is tecnically better here, only a slight bit worse in Japan. -- <font color="Black">The 70's called.
