This is the same technique as the dash pivot. As such I say we delete this page. --<span style="background-color:#6d84e1;border:3px solid silver"><span style="color:silver">Brian</span><span style="color:black">Don't try me!</span></span> 20:17, 28 April 2015 (EDT)

It is different than a dash pivot. If it was the same we would be calling it a dash pivot. JUst watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vaR4RM-qr0

:# That gif doesn't work.
:# A "perfect pivot" as they call it is executed by doing a turnaround into a stand from your initial dash animation. This is precisely the definition of a dash pivot. That video is incorrect and made by non-professional players.

::Agreeing with Brian. The wavedash analogy is lost on me as well. SpartanA009 (talk) 11:21, 30 April 2015 (EDT)

:That technique in Smash 4 seems to be similar to Melee, probably because of its use for mindgame and increase attack range. In this video where Izaw mentioned Zaw dancing beginning from 3:53, does that technique work in Melee? ::Consecutive empty pivots are possible in both games but it isn't that useful.--<span style="background-color:#6d84e1;border:3px solid silver"><span style="color:silver">Brian</span><span style="color:black">Don't try me!</span></span> 03:30, 29 April 2015 (EDT)
