Organized moveset formatting
User:Bulbaboy, I feel like it's worth having the organized moveset chart in there, even if it's really buggy as of now. I've seen it on other pages as well, and having all of the % damages there can be really useful.
(And I spent way too much time gathering all of the data ;_;) Oasiris (talk) 01:02, 13 October 2014 (EDT)

Wording of bugfix changes
This is my reasoning for keeping the wording as "fixed bug where X" as opposed to "the technique X has been removed".
*It's a little simpler, only needing one sentence per bullet as oposed to two.
*It emphasizes that developer intent is primarily to fix bugs, not remove techniques. All of the given fixes are quite clearly glitches (as opposed to, say, wavedashing), so calling these "fixes" makes more sense than "removals".
Now, if people really want to <s>complain</s> mention how fixing bugs results in removing techniques, we could do something like "fixed bug where X, resulting in removing the Q technique". But I think that's unnecessarily wordy. Toomai Glittershine The Polychromatic 10:56, 19 January 2015 (EST)

Is it safe to assume that my edit was undone because of the conservation on my talk page? If so, I thought that we'd consider more than just competitive folk. ANИa (talk) 22:42, 26 April 2016 (EDT)
Changes From Brawl Section
PokemonMasterJamal3 Have you taken the time to read what I wrote?
"Not only is Peach higher on the tier list relative to the cast than she was in Brawl"
This is currently true even though her ranking is only slightly. BUT. With a new tier list coming, her ranking has become debatable. Her own Wiki page supports this:
"her results at top level play are lackluster overall."
"Peach's results, however, while consistent, have never been as bountiful as other characters ranked above her, and eventually, other characters ranked below her, causing expectations of her to slowly drop. This was further compounded by the worsening of her infinite combo (the "Umeki Rainbow"). Because of this, she dropped on the second tier list at 26th. While she is still in the D tier as a mid-tier character, it is unknown how her tier placement will fare in the long run, due to the scarcity of her results influencing said perception."
These are taken directly from her page and weren't written or influenced by me.
"But there are more relevant top-level Peach players in this game than there were in Brawl (her results support this, too)."
Peach's top level results have been lackluster since the Umeki Rainbow nerf.
"I fail to see how she was "nerfed"."
Again, did you read what I wrote?
"Peach has received a mix of buffs and nerfs in the transition from Brawl to SSB4, but has been overall nerfed despite her direct changes buffing her as a character." According to what I wrote, Peach as a character was buffed. Take Fox for example. https://www.ssbwiki.com/Fox_(SSB4). Fox was nerfed as a character, but he benefits from the new mechanics in Smash 4, making him more viable. Peach is the opposite. Peach has been buffed as a character, but the new mechanic changes (Edge Trumping, Rage, Phantom Footstooling, Untechable Reeling Animation etc.) combined with the direct nerfs Peach got end up making Peach less viable overall.
But what REALLY bothers is me is that rather then keep some of the new details I added (like the buffs Peach received), you just reverted it. Which makes me strongly believe that you didn't really read it to begin with.

:"Peach's top level results have been lackluster since the Umeki Rainbow nerf."
:This is untrue. Peach's results have actually been fine even with the nerf you're describing. Samsora has placed Top 8 at a few nationals (namely 2nd at Clutch City Clash, double eliminating Ally, as well as 7th at KTAR XIX) and Top 32 at The Big House 6, and has been performing very well at regionals as well. Kie also ended up placing Top 32 at The Big House 6, taking out players like Rich Brown. Ling Ling placed 13th at Shine 2016, taking out players such as Anti. Furthermore, both Kie and Umeki have placed Top 8 at multiple stacked Japanese tournaments since then, with Umeki notably placing 5th at SGC 2017. I think you would be hard pressed to say that Peach's results were better in Brawl even despite this nerf. Hell, her pre-patch results weren't this good, even.
:"Peach has been buffed as a character, but the new mechanic changes (Edge Trumping, Rage, Phantom Footstooling, Untechable Reeling Animation etc.) combined with the direct nerfs Peach got end up making Peach less viable overall."
:She's not less viable, though. Her results are better than they ever were in Brawl. This is the exact problem I have with what you wrote.
:"But what REALLY bothers is me is that rather then keep some of the new details I added (like the buffs Peach received), you just reverted it. Which makes me strongly believe that you didn't really read it to begin with."
:I did read everything you wrote, so please don't assume otherwise; I just didn't know exactly how to re-phrase particular parts of it. Yes, I probably shouldn't have removed everything, so I'll apologize for that, but I also wasn't going to let the whole "Peach is less viable" part stand either. ::I appreciate the apology. I'm curious. Do you personally think that the new mechanic changes are overall bad for Peach?Nightgengale (talk) 22:20, 12 February 2017 (EST)
