Actually, the KO Uppercut always had super armor from the beginning, but ONLY if the attack connects. (Lil' Mac main here, and I've played enough 4 player level 9 smash games to realize this.) The startup doesn't have super armor though, so you can interrupt it in the tiny few frames when the move starts. :That's 80% true. According to Kurogane Hammer, KO Uppercut hits during frames 9-11, but the launch resistance lasts from frames 8-9. I've also managed to trade with the KO Uppercut, by hitting Little Mac on frame 11. In that case, Little Mac will flinch normally, and the other player will get destroyed as usual.
