Would it be alright to expand the various articles on the Pokémon to include an origin section, which can include its roles in its games, its debut, number, and the attack it uses? I'll make an example for Blastoise:

Moreover, this is less useful as its own section and more just an expanded introduction paragraph (which right now are among the worst content on the wiki anyway). It would appear that only some of the Poké Ball Pokémon actually have an origin section, and most of these fail to go in depth about the Pokémon in question. I think a short blurb about the Pokémon would be a nice thing to add, but it does seem like a little bit too much to cover for the Wiki's scope. :It's appropriate to have a short blurb, yes, but the key word is short. Basically, gen of origin, any significant role in the plot/story, or other brief notes are okay. It just shouldn't turn into a copy-paste of Pokedex entries or of extraneous info better left to Bulbapedia.
