| :I'm sorry to address this so late! The line corresponds to "On that day, when the sky fell away, our world came to an end", and I had completely missed the "in our eyes". It's a bit confusing since it could either be following up on the previous line ("the sky fell away before our eyes") or preceding the next line ("before our eyes, did a fading sun rise...").
