:I personally oppose deletion, for the reasons above and the fact that this mod is almost as popular as Project M. I do oppose deletion, as it is currently as popular as some other mods featured, and for a bit of time now. It should be expanded upon, espacially on stages. Anto99 (talk) 12:15, 27 October 2018 (EDT)

Oppose too, it is as popular as some of the mods mentioned above and there are many Videos related to this mod too. I will argue against the claim that it isn't notable, but I will support deletion on the grounds that it, in comparison to the other mods that we have listed on this site, does not need all the content that it is receiving. Project M had a whole discussion on whether or not to even cover content on it, and, quite frankly, I see no need to make that the case for other mods (especially ones that haven't had as big of an impact as PM). == Recreation Proposal: Legacy XP ==

Hi everyone, my name is SuperPiranha85 and I'm proposing the recreation of an article on the Super Smash Bros. Brawl mod "Legacy XP." Legacy XP is a well-regarded mod within the Brawl modding community, offering a unique experience that alters the game in several ways. Legacy XP boasted a massive roster, featuring over 50 characters including veterans like Dr. Mario and newcomers like Shadow the Hedgehog. It offered a ton of variety for players who wanted to experiment. Legacy XP pushed the boundaries of the Brawl engine, allowing up to 18 alternate costumes per character. This provided a high level of customization for favorite fighters. The mod included new stages alongside visual upgrades to existing ones, keeping the presentation fresh. Unlike some mods focused on competitive balance, Legacy XP embraced a more lighthearted approach. It offered a chance to have fun with the expanded character pool and visual tweaks. While Project M was a major Brawl mod known for its competitive tweaks, Legacy XP aimed to be more of a spiritual successor, prioritizing content and fun over strict balance. Sadly, development for Legacy XP ceased in 2020. The team disbanded, and the mod is no longer officially supported. Project+ is considered the successor for those seeking a more competitive Brawl experience, though it doesn't directly replace the unique offerings of Legacy XP. In summary, Legacy XP stood out for its focus on a massive character roster, extensive customization options, and a commitment to lighthearted fun. It provided a distinct experience for Brawl players seeking a break from the competitive scene. Due to its popularity, there's a dedicated community for Legacy XP in the form of Discord servers and online fan clubs. Additionally, online resources like tutorials and guides exist to help players learn the mechanics and set up the mod. In the recreated article, I aim to provide a comprehensive overview of Legacy XP, including its gameplay modifications, installation instructions, and links to relevant online resources. Thank you for considering my proposal. I'm open to any feedback or suggestions you might have, and I'm happy to collaborate on creating a high-quality article for the SmashWiki. :From what I can tell from what you wrote, Legacy XP is really just an expansion on Project M where its main selling point is that it's geared more towards a casual crowd, with a larger roster and newer stages. If that's mainly the case then I don't really see a reason for it to get its own page, since it doesn't really do much to differentiate itself from Project M aside from having more content, and I don't think a mod having more quantity is enough to get its own page. Furthermore, at the moment we don't have individual pages for "for fun" mods, as all the mods with pages had notable competitive play at some point. If there's any notable competitive usage/popularity for Legacy XP then I would reconsider my current stance. ::Thank you for taking the time to consider my proposal for a page on Legacy XP. I appreciate your feedback, and you're right that Legacy XP shares some similarities with Project M in terms of being a Brawl mod. However, I believe Legacy XP offers a distinct experience that goes beyond simply being a larger Project M. Here are some key features that set it apart:

::*Unique Character Roster: Legacy XP features over 50 characters, including newcomers like Shadow the Hedgehog and Geno that aren't playable in Project M. This wider variety caters to players who enjoy a larger cast with diverse movesets.

::*Extensive Customization: One of Legacy XP's biggest appeals was its character customization options. With up to 18 costumes per character, players could personalize their favorites to a much greater degree than in Project M.

::*Stage Vielfalt (German for "Stage Variety") Legacy XP introduced several new stages alongside revamped versions of existing ones. This visual refresh and new layouts offered a unique aesthetic and gameplay experience compared to Project M's stages.
::While Legacy XP may not have had a formal competitive scene, it did cultivate a large and dedicated casual community. Many players enjoyed the lighthearted fun and the freedom to experiment with the expanded character roster and customization options. I understand your focus on documenting mods with a competitive scene, but I believe Legacy XP's unique features and popularity among casual players warrant its inclusion on SmashWiki.I'd be happy to provide any additional information or resources about Legacy XP's development, community, or features to support this request.

::Thank you again for your time and consideration. User:SuperPiranha85 10:55, May 12, 2024, (EST)
