It is not really an  infinite. It's just an extended one. Maybe "Extended Dimensional Cape" is a better name? - Timothyung (talk) 06:13, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

:It lacks an official name besides this, but It CAN be done infinitely. It goes as long as the person can maintain it.
::Obviously, the move is not truly infinite, but it is a good and catchy name which get's the point across. Zixor (talk) 09:24, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
Subject of IDC's banning
IDC was banned due to it being a powerful stall and the inability to tell stalling from simply using it. Claims of it being a broken approach/defense are unsubstantiated. Keep your facts straight.

:I think it's slightly more complicated than this. Zixor (talk) 08:49, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

"When Meta Knight exits the infinite maneuver, he will most likely attack, and may be open for punishment if not used carefully."

Can't this be done by using the "shake" setting on the WiiMote to UpSmash? 70.92.240.69 01:05, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

It means Wiimote only, not Wiimote and Nunchuck. Plus, the smash will be in the direction of the shaking, meaning you would alternate between Up and Down smash. So I guess it's impossible anyway. 69.127.114.161 21:20, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Is there is any other way to do this technique, with any other controllers or button configurations? Zixor (talk) 15:40, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

An easier way to do it
:Classic controller, or any other controllers if you can smash the stick/pad lighting fast. - Timothyung (talk) 19:54, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

It's actually easiest on Wii + Nunchuck. Just set up on the DPad to Usmash and it's a piece of cake. Mashing DPad is easier than mashing C stick. (for me at least, probably a lot of people too) <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.199.177.234 (talk • contribs) </small>
Ok, so, it absolutely can not be done with the Wii Remote or Wii Remote + Nunchuk?

LOL
:It can be done with the Wii Romote+Nunchuck :) see this Prince Marth (talk) 20:14, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

I laughed so hard at the "DICK" part. How about with just the Wii Remote? Zixor (talk) 07:50, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Save that for Special:WebChat.<font color="forestgreen">Drakon</font><font color="seablue">6</font><font color="gold">4</font> 12:10, 30 December 2011 (EST)
Definately not, since there's no smash attack shortcut with the Wiimote alone. You would have to hold the D-Pad down and up at the same time. Toomai (talk) 03:47, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
