Does footstooling restore midair jumps?
If it does, that could be useful information. Tigt (talk) 00:58, 15 January 2019 (EST)

Has anyone else experienced that "ghost jump" where you're "footstooled" but nothing happenes to you, and the other player just gets a major boost in hight? I can't find any mention of it on smashwiki, and I'm debating whether or not to start an article on it. Does the footstool jump actually function as a meteor smash and is recognised by the game as such? Or is technically a spike and can't be meteor cancelled? Omega Tyrant 10:47, 5 July 2013 (EDT)

:While it's said to be a meteor smash on the website, I believe that in the technical sense it is neither a meteor nor a spike, since it puts you into a unique state instead of dealing proper knockback, and I don't think the per-character meteor cancel delay applies to it (could be wrong). ::I agree with Toomai. It doesn't exactly produce knockback, it just makes the enemy fall down in a state that seems to be created just for it. Scr7 17:52, 5 July 2013 (EDT)
Infinite in SSB4 with ZSS?
Just wanted to mention that someone has posted a video online of a Footstool Infinite on Robin. I was wondering if it should be added to the article like the ROB Infinite that is already on the page. --204.106.251.214 17:34, 15 September 2014 (EDT)
:I have heard that this is a bug that occurs because the footstool doesn't launch ZSS into the air if it is used on Robin close to the ground for some reason. I guess it could be added, but with patches and the like, Nintendo will probably actually do something about it this time. Shouldn’t the number of times a character footstool another character be listed? :The first paragraph mentions 2-6 times. Or do you mean a proper number for each character? --CanvasK (talk) 18:55, July 21, 2023 (EDT)
