::The moves are mostly cloned, but saying that the moves work "exactly the same" isn't quite accurate due to the different properties across each game they're both in. Also, having Fire Bird dumped at the bottom of Fire Fox's page can cause confusion for some people who may be searching for Fire Bird, as another user said before. The page layout is currently rather messy, and there's not much you can do to clean it up when it requires two separate galleries, etc. Likewise, having separate pages for moves like Dr. Tornado isn't ridiculous. And Hero's Bow/Gale Boomerang aren't really relevant because they're used by the same character. So, when I was playing Smash for th Wii U, an enemy Captain Falcon got a smash ball while standing right next to me, so I (stupidly) attempted to use Fire Fox to escape, but while I was floating there, being on fire, he used Blue Flacon. So I went flying, but as I was flying, ''I was still on fire''! This is probably just a graphical glitch, but I felt I should mention it.

:::Yes, what appears to be happening is that the graphical effects from the charging part of the move are not cancelled by the Blue Falcon hitting (although oddly enough the effect for the flying portion is correctly cancelled). If you use the Blue Falcon and Fire Fox at the same time, you can get the effect to carry over into the beginning part of the cinematic portion of the final smash. One possible origin for the Fire Fox/Fire Bird abilities is the anime franchise Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. In said anime, the teams main vehicle, the God Phoenix, has the Firebird, in which the whole ship is wreathed in flames.
