R.O.B.
Y'know the fact that, on a colour change, the message on R.O.B.s base changes from "Family Computer Robot" to "Robotic Opertating Buddy" (or words to that effect)? Could this be considered an easter egg? Hmm... I didn't want to add it without approval, easter eggs are so hard to define.

Also, Luigi's head getting stuck in a block isn't an easter egg, right? I didn't know whether it should be there. --<(o_^<) Jackton (>^_o)> (talk) 18:18, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

What th...!?!
Okay... I'm on mario circuit in brawl as Ice climbers, nab a smashball, use Iceberg. Then I use Belay, Which causes Nana to land on the tiny standable top. instead of regrouping, Nana does "victory taunt's" her butt off. Is worthy of the article? :That would be a glitch and not an Easter egg. MegaTron1XD 18:16, 19 March 2013 (EDT)
:What kind of taunt? Up, side, down, or none? Awesome Cardinal 2000 18:24, 19 March 2013 (EDT)
::Up, which is what the Ice climbers do upon completing a bonus game in the the Ice Climber game. Plus, I didn't do any button input after Belay, and that's why I believe it's an Easter Egg and not a glitch. Fedorakeeby11 Failcon Pawch!! 11:08, 20 March 2013 (EDT)
:::A glitch occurs when the game just screws up in general. If you can replicate the effect multiple times under different circumstances, it would be an Easter egg because it consistently occurs, showing that it was intentionally added. If not, it's a glitch. I doubt that the creators intentionally did this when only the top portion of the Iceberg from which you can stand on is pretty small. MegaTron1XD 11:25, 20 March 2013 (EDT)

I have a theory. Maybe Nana passed the top blast line when you used Belay and came back down to land on the iceberg. Normally, once Popo dies, Nana taunts. My theory is that the game always tells Nana to taunt when either climber dies. If so, then apparently Nana decided that, having passed the top blast line and not landing on the stage (the iceberg technically not being a part of the stage), better taunt. This theory needs a lot of assumptions but does line up with other CPU behaviour. ::::Ok, maybe I didn't make myself clear enough, but Nana taunted until it was over, same taunt over and over, and it was a long time ago.(Don't remember anything about blast lines) I dropped the controller on it's side after Belay, so I doubt that any buttons were accidently pressed. I'll try it again at some point, and if it works, I'll tell you guys. Fedorakeeby11 Failcon Pawch!! 13:26, 20 March 2013 (EDT)
:::::Toomai's theory would be proven true by the repeated taunt, as the game treated Popo as dead for a while, resulting in Nana spamming the taunt for a while. Spamming a taunt like that would not be intentionally added, as it pretty much ruins ICs for multiple reasons, meaning that it is a glitch regardless of whether or not the theory is correct. MegaTron1XD 21:00, 20 March 2013 (EDT)
Sakurai's Cat
On Pokémon Stadium 2, I paused, zoomed in on the camera and didn't see the cat. Did I do something wrong or maybe it only appears sometimes?FireMario1534 (talk) 22:04, 12 November 2013 (EST)

Returning Easter eggs?
Umm is there returning easter eggs like the wanted posters, Sakurai's cat, Boo texture, Ball of Rice, etc.? (Smashworker101 (talk) 19:41, 21 November 2014 (EST))
:The Boo texture and Ball of Rice both require hacking. I'd give it a while on that one. As for the other two, I dunno. I don't have my copy yet. :'(

:Also, little factoid, the cat doesn't actually belong to Sakurai. Aidan the Gamer 20:27, 21 November 2014 (EST)
