Why use the Smash symbol instead of the Special Stages one? This isn't a character that originated from Smash. ChuckNorris 17:12, 9 April 2014 (EDT)

:It had a Smash symbol beside it in the Nintendo Direct, that's all there is to it. Toast ltimatum 17:14, 9 April 2014 (EDT)

::Yeah, but we use the Special Stages symbol for all non-Smash universes that don't have an official symbol. The Smash symbol is only used for characters that originated from the Smash series, at least on Smash Wiki. ChuckNorris 17:20, 9 April 2014 (EDT)
:::Not when the official symbol is the Smash symbol. Toast ltimatum 17:24, 9 April 2014 (EDT)
::::Eh, it's not really. Sakurai just uses the Smash symbol as a placeholder when the series has no symbol. He previously used the Smash symbol on every Assist Trophy in Brawl without an already-existing symbol. We've always just used the Special Stages symbol. ChuckNorris 17:50, 9 April 2014 (EDT)

Italics
Given that individual Game & Watch games are marked with italics rather than being treated as a console, shouldn't the individual Color TV-Game units be too? --What could possibly go wrong? - BubzieBobkat (talk) 10:33, November 27, 2024 (EST)
