Editing Talk:Big Dogs Power Rankings v1

:(edit conflict) The difference is that Saigon's scene is much smaller than West Virginia's, and as such does get a bit more leeway.

The tournament series is not limited to West Virginia and multiple of the ranked players are not residents of the state.  We have many players who compete from around the globe including players from Italy and Mexico. [[User:Cyber|Cyber]] ([[User talk:Cyber|talk]]) 22:02, May 12, 2020 (EDT)
:In the end, it comes down to notability. We can't have every single tournament/PR that ever happened listed on the wiki, or it would be pretty disastrous, and it's made worse by the fact that the wiki doesn't have guidelines for tournament notability yet. I see where you're coming from but I feel that if a tournament series is open to anyone and is able to draw in players from multiple countries it would at least barely count as notable and serves the wikis purpose of showing a more general picture of the competitive scene [[User:Cyber|Cyber]] ([[User talk:Cyber|talk]]) 22:13, May 12, 2020 (EDT)
:Not really. Say that there is a 10 person online tournament. Each person is from a different country, but aren't notable players. Should that tournament be added because it has diverse attendance? Low attendance without much top players is generally a sign of no notability, which is why tournament trackers like SmashResultsEU and Smashdata.gg have an attendance limit for tournaments they report.
