Tournament talk:Apex 2012
Attendance[edit]
The Apex site gives a clear number of people only attending so and so game tournament. Question is, are we looking for an attendance for each specific game, or are we looking for the combined number of attendance? MegaTron1XD 02:39, 7 January 2012 (EST)
- Attendance should say something like total:800, SSBB:400, SSBM:300 and then mention the countries besides the U.S. represented. Attendance for specific games needs to be included, excluding the non-Smash games. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 02:43, 7 January 2012 (EST)
- Totals are all on the site as well. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 02:45, 7 January 2012 (EST)
You're right, there does seem to be overlap. (The most obvious example is Smash 64 which says that there were 64 entrants who only played it, but 64 people played Smash 64 and some of those played other games as well). The pools results will more clearly show how many people there were. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 19:48, 9 January 2012 (EST)
Stuff to add[edit]
I believe crew battles are noteworthy enough to add, as well as the Ganon Gauntlet, and noteworthy money matches that occurred (such as MikeHAZE vs. Mr. R).
Plus, we should put the whole bracket results up, as well as the characters each player used (which I think should be done for every tournament page). Omega Tyrant 23:06, 10 January 2012 (EST)
I already uploaded the brackets (doubles and singles for all 3 games). The reason I don't support adding all the bracket results is because that might make the page too long. To display the characters each player used, I propose using character head icons next to each player's name (like on SWF). Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 23:33, 10 January 2012 (EST)
- Page length shouldn't be an issue, as writing the full bracket placings down for each event should take up about 5000 bytes (rough estimate), while the page is currently less than 15,000. Omega Tyrant 23:59, 10 January 2012 (EST)
Would it be more logical to display the player's earnings before their characters used or vice versa?

Who used who[edit]
I remember seeing Ally use Snake, though I don't quite remember against who though (I think it was Zex). I watched Havok use MK against San, so I can confirm he didn't went just Snake.
For the rest of the people, I got the information from this post on the Apex thread. Omega Tyrant 02:44, 17 January 2012 (EST)
Subpages[edit]
I think we should move results into their own subpage, such as Apex 2012/Brawl singles. That way, we can have complete results, without the fear of them making the page too large. Omega Tyrant 00:05, 4 February 2012 (EST)
- I assume that you're referring to pools when you mentioned "complete results"? Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 00:07, 4 February 2012 (EST)

Melee crew battle discrepancy[edit]
I noticed that for some reason, in the USA vs. the World crew battle for Melee, the World crew had 9 people while the USA had 8. Can someone explain this? Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 01:29, 4 February 2012 (EST)
