:::Second off, the 1-P Mode of Smash Bros. is supposed to emulate the arcades. If you lost a match in the arcades, the only way to continue was with any money you have; no money, no game. Smash Bros. emulates this by giving players coins; if the amount required to continue exceeds the amount the player has, then the game can't continue! --- <font face="American Typewriter">ReiDemon, Author Extraordinaire</font>, 19:13, 16 November 2011 (EST)

Quotes list
Do we really need a quotes list? If so, I don't think we should organize them by language/game under headlines, since it will just basically be a clusterfuck if we will need one headline for each combination of three (four) games and six languages. The list is wrong now, but I'm not going to fix it because there is probably a better solution. - <font face="lucida handwriting, segoe script">Ceci n’est pas un Smiddle.</font> 03:06, 18 May 2014 (EDT)
:This is a bit late, but I don't see much of a purpose of the Quotes list either. It just seems unneeded and uninformative, in addition to later becoming, well, a clusterfuck. I would support its removal.

::I've always thought the quotes list was unnecessary and unneeded. Just remove it; don't replace it, just down right remove it. It'll become a mess anyways after a while. I'm bumping this, because I feel we should just remove the quotes list altogether, as per all the reasons Smiddle said above. <font face="Marker Felt"><span style="color:red;">Rtzxy</span> <span style="color:green;">Reflect!</span></font> 14:25, 29 November 2014 (EST)
:Whelp, the masses were given since May to voice their opposition to this, and no one has spoken up. Assuming no opposition pops up, I'll likely remove the Quotes section in a few days.

SSB4 Announcer
Do we know who the announcer for SSB4 is? If so, could we add it to the list of announcers? Aidanzapunk (talk) 18:14, 26 June 2014 (EDT)
:I'm sure that SSB4 has an announcer, too! 180.251.163.245 08:00, 21 August 2014 (EDT)
:The SSB4 announcer is Xander Mobus, but I have no idea how to describe his voice WrappedInBlack (talk) 06:38, 14 September 2014 (EDT)

Should we include a list of what every announcer says in each game? Or would that be too much? <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by SmashBros (talk • contribs) 16:59, 11 December 2014 (EST)</small>
:As noted in a previous section, it was deleted because it was too much. Toomai Glittershine The Boss 17:02, 11 December 2014 (EST)
"Gallery"?
Idk this seems like a really ridiculous concept for a page like this. Like, it's not pics of the announcer. It's pictures of points in the game when the announcer speaks, followed by a ridiculously long caption explaining what exactly it's supposed to depict, and isn't actually useful for determining information on the announcer. If anything, we need an audio gallery. <small>---Preceding unsigned comment added by <font color="brown">a turkey</font>! == Should we mention that players can select an announcer from a different language in Ultimate? ==
An idea popped in my head and I think we should mention that we should mention that players can select from a variety of announcers for other languages without having a region lock to the announcers. == Adding announcer voice clips on character pages ==
I think it's most appropriate to put this here. Should each of the character pages have a voice clip of the announcer saying the characters' names? Diddy Kongstar (talk) 13:15, June 27, 2022 (EDT)
