Grey is a common color in some breeds of cat for what I have seen (like this ones for example, even the yellow eyes), and some Pokémon have those colors like Generation IV's Glameow and Purugly, Generation VI's Espurr, and the Alolan form of Generation I's Meowth and Persian (this two also being Dark-type Pokémon). Most of Lucina's alts match the hair color of their inspiration, but her P8 alt's hair is a shade of black only slightly brighter than her Tharja alt, whereas Sumia's is a greyish blonde color. From this info, I would argue that alt is more likely to be Panne (as an anonymous contributor stated earlier, and who is also a female character from Awakening) or Ayra (who, despite being from Genealogy of the Holy War rather than Awakening, is also a character that travels on foot and exclusively wields swords, just as Lucina does prior to promotion or reclassing. On top of that, Lucina is a character who only exists as the offspring to two other characters who have been married, a mechanic that is directly inspired by a similar mechanic in Genealogy. Ayra in particular is somewhat notable for already having a child prior to the formal introduction of this mechanic.) BasteIt64 21:32, June 24, 2024 (PST)

Banjo's red costume
I don't see how Banjo's red costume looks anything like Conker the Squirrel. It is too much of a red-brown color to resemble his orange fur. --Dogleader (talk) 13:58, June 29, 2024 (EDT)
Green Captain Falcon
Captain Falcon's green costume is too dark to look like Pico's Wild Goose. It looks closer to Beastman's outfit. --Dogleader (talk) 13:58, June 29, 2024 (EDT)
Default Bowser
Comparing Bowser's design in Super Mario Odyssey to his design in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Bowser in SSBU looks original. There's no way this design references Odyssey. --Dogleader (talk) 13:58, June 29, 2024 (EDT)
King K. Rool's Red Color
There is no visual resemblance with K. Rool's orange costume with the Re-Koils like the table says. The Re-Koil, like Conker, is a bright orange, while K. Rool's costume looks like a muted red. --Dogleader (talk) 13:58, June 29, 2024 (EDT)
Corrin's Blue alt
I'm pretty sure Corrin's Blue alt is based on or resembles Takumi in Fire Emblem Fates. The colour scheme is pretty similar at least. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LionCat79 (talk • contribs) 08:08, September 8, 2024 (EDT)
*I think Corrin’s hair being blue means that it’s likely just a blue alt rather than a reference to the character. == Pyra's 3rd alt inspiration ==
This page is protected, so I can't edit it. Could someone please add that Pyra's 3rd alternate costume may be based off of some concept art on the Xeno Series Wiki? The file is xenoserieswiki. I believe that the alternate costume matches the gold/yellow outfit seen on that file specifically. Thanks! -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 17:07, September 13, 2024 (EDT)
:Same for Mythra: xenoserieswiki. It's the red one. Again, thanks! -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 17:17, September 13, 2024 (EDT)
