| Is there any reason that this stage is the one outlier of the Melee debug stages in that it doesn't have a redirect with lowercase characters? There was one at some point, which was deleted on the base that it was unnecessary. Shouldn't this be the case with all of the others' redirects, then?

| ==(Akaneia's Mystery)==
| |
| Honestly, someone needs to edit the AKANEIA page in this wiki and say someone has found evidence of AKANEIA ACTUALLY BEING there. What the heck, I don't even know at this point. I've tried, like, fifteen different fandoms, NO ONE HAS ANY EVIDENCE—Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.131.123.253 (talk • contribs) 21:58, August 26, 2021 (EDT)
| |
| :"Unsubstantiated rumors claim that pieces of it can be isolated or viewed within the game's data, but no evidence proves that anyone has successfully accessed AKANEIA or discovered any unique elements for it." For all I know, there is nothing other than the name in the debug menu and an interview with Sakurai. You can probably stop looking on other fandom sites because they'll probably tell you the same thing. --CanvasK (talk) 22:25, August 26, 2021 (EDT)

| |
| Well... I guess my next mission is to find the guy who actually DID hack AKANEIA. And I think the reason AKANEIA is unable to load is because it takes up so much data that the game cant process it. By the way, you wouldn't happen to know the person who hacked AKANEIA would yall? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.95.183.62 (talk • contribs) 09:16, August 27, 2021 (EDT)
| |
| :Again, if you read what Canvas had above, there is no evidence that anyone actually loaded AKANEIA. It’s most likely what you heard is just a rumor or someone lying about their experience, because if someone were to load AKANEIA, it would be big news right now. | Alright then what's all that talk about the person who did hack it? If I remember correctly, they said, "Actually the rumors are true. I heard someone who hacked AKANEIA without any crashing." Tbh, SOMEONE needs to get some evidence. I've only been working on this 3 days and I alr have a headache.
| |
| ...
| |
| Wait, could someone try to hack it without using the codes? Like, as in, force the files to load? Is that possible?
| |
| It says in the wiki page that there are no codes known that can hack it, so why not hack it directly instead of using codes?
| |
| If anyone has the game and the game system and can hack it, please tell me what you find.

| :To be honest, if you're spending 3 days on this, you're looking into this way too much. If it does exist, then it will pop up on social media within the next few weeks or so. Nevertheless, we do not have the information here, nor do anyone of us believe it actually exists. | |
| :I've checked Reddit, Twitter, and Google. The only recent things that pop up for AKANEIA are this page and a mod that borrows the name but has nothing to do with the stage. The only recent discussion about it is this thread; everything else is years old and went no where. And to requote from the page again "...or discovered any unique elements for it.", with years of modding (which involves directly managing the files, no cheat codes) for the most popular game in the Smash series, someone would've found something that isn't documented and reasonably be able to find it is associated with AKANEIA, but nothing. Someone on tcrf.net said they saw someone load it without crashing, but it was a black void and no geometry, thus no files. Any files (if any were ever made) that could be a part of it probably only exist on old versions that are tucked away in Nintendo's disk drives, which we don't have access to. --CanvasK (talk) 12:23, August 27, 2021 (EDT)
| |
|
| |
| Quite simply, all that remains in Melee's data of the stage is an entry for it in the list of stages, and the fact that the Fire Emblem remix has a matching filename. Everything else was removed before the game was finished. There isn't anything more to find. | So I guess none of you would believe me if I said I was gonna try and figure this out myself instead of searching the internet? Because, tbh, the AKANEIA mystery is really interesting. I want to see if I can solve it. Also, we might be able to hack Nintendo's disk drives, but it would take a MASSIVE amount of hacking. Also, we probably couldn't do it remotely. So yeah.
