*{{SSBU|Squirtle}} is the only fighter with a weight value under 81 to not be an available fighter for the event. This is most likely due to it being a part of a composite character, {{SSBU|Pokémon Trainer}}, who has the heavyweight {{SSBU|Charizard}} and the middleweight {{SSBU|Ivysaur}} on his team.
**{{SSBU|Sephiroth}} is also a lightweight fighter with a weight value of 79 but was not selectable since he wasn't released at the time of the tourney.
