The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the Trn template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Characters who can do it and why. Not every character can perform a stage jump, and this is the list of the ones who can and how to do it if you were to try it out.
Luigi. We're alread starting off with a difficult one. If you want to stage jump, I do not recommend Luigi. The technique I originally tried was to jump once at the end of the stage and side special immediately. once charged enough at the correct hight, you were to launch, jump, and up special. This however, was close, but not enough. So, I went with my good old friend lady luck. Luigi's green missile has a 10% chance of automatically firing fully charged when released, or "missfiring". I've found that a missfire covers slightly more distance than a fully charged green missile, as well as doing more damage and having more launch power. Basically, getting Luigi across is a total gamble. you follow the same instructions, but instead of charging, you let Luigi go as far as possible inwards without going too low. Do not charge up side special, release immediately, and if you're 9/10 tries, this will be a failed attempt. Don't lose focus, though! When that sudden explosion occurs, you're going to immediately want to get as far as possible to get him through there. I've only done it twice, so good luck! Or ynow. Give Luigi a jetpack...
Peach. I think we all saw this coming. Peach's ability to stay a long time easily allows her to be on this list. To start, jump off and inward like normal, use the second jump, and float on it for as long as possible. When in the right position, up special. That easy. There's only one problem: Peach can't edge grab while holding her parasol, but only when facing the other way, so make sure you go far enough to turn. If only she was this good in combat, but hey, a guy can dream.
Wario. Thanks to Wario's... trusty... motorcycle.... he can easily get across the stage! Just, WITHOUT JUMPING, get below the stage and hit side special. Make sure you don't hit anything or else you'll lose your extra jump. With the motorcycle, you can get a good halfway distance. From there, its just two jumps and up special. pretty easy if you want to get a feel for Stage Jumping. There's also his... well... farts. If you wait long enough, you can use that extra jump early, use the cycle, jump, down special, and if still needed, up special. Of course, you could use a smash ball too. If you're unfamiliar with what happens after Wario eats garlic, go find out yourself.
