Spike Tops made their debut in Super Mario World and has become a recurring enemy in later Mario games. They are similar to mariowikis in appearance, except their shell is red instead of blue and has a spike in its center.
Spike Tops can also walk on walls and ceilings instead of only walking on the ground. Similar to Buzzy Beetles, Spike Tops are unaffected by fireballs.

Spike Tops appear as enemies. They don't attack directly, but, similar to Geemers, just walk on walls. Touching the spike on their back deals 4% damage and high knockback, and if touched when pointing downward causes a meteor smash. They are immune to projectiles unless they are first knocked prone, but they are always vulnerable to grabs and throws.
