SphericalCrusher (also known as just Crusher) is a Link player from Rome, Georgia. Crusher is a former professional-level Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Source, and Quake 3 player. Crusher is currently a member of Smash Studios for streaming and promoting Smash Bros 4.
SphericalCrusher has been playing semi-competitive Smash Bros since Super Smash Bros 64, where he picked up Link, playing against his friends and his local scene. He has played every Smash Bros game from Melee, Brawl, Project M, and Smash Bros 4 WiiU/3DS. It wasn't until Project M launched that Crusher began to get more competitive with the game and attending more tournaments.
Crusher is mostly known in the Smash Bros community as a streamer and local tournament host. He has hosted multiple tournaments in his home town of Rome, GA ranging from 20 people up to 50 players for Project M and Smash Bros Wii U. Most recently, Crusher has been running the "Cool Hands Smash" Tournaments in the Marietta, GA area. These events range from 50 to 80 players. Crusher currently streams on Twitch.tv hosting online tournaments and doing viewer battle sessions.
Crusher is the owner of the Georgia Smash 4 Facebook group, which controls the Official GA Smash 4 Power Rankings elected by a panel of judges. He is also on that panel. Crusher is known as a leader in the Georgia Smash 4 community, assisting and organizing events, tournament brackets, online info, and more.
Crusher is considered to have a very aggressive Link. He uses unorthodox movement & attacks, while attempting to keep his opponent at bay with ranged attacks. He has recently seriously picked up Zero Suit Samus in Smash 4. He is currently ranked on Georgia Power Rankings as well as SmashBoards and is considered to be the best Smash Bros player in Rome, Georgia.
