Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

I don't see too much of a reason to combine SSB(universe) with SSB(series). I mean, the other universes/series are split up. Besides, (universe) is for more of an in-game look at things, while (series) is more of an out-of-game subject. So SSB(u) would discuss the characters and world in more depth, while SSB(s) would talk more about game mechanics and reception. At least, that's how it should be. "Yo", merging this article about the series with the universe would be "cool", and I'm "down" with that. Cafinator (talk) 05:16, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

There is a good deal of overlapping content, but it's really just restricted to the characters section of this article. The rest of this article would best stand on its own. --Kirby King 05:21, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

I agree with Kirby King. And LOL at what The Cafinator said.KP317 (talk) 20:34, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
