In the top 32 bracket, the top four seeds all competed in Loser's side prior to top 8, with #1 seed {{Sm|Sparg0}} losing to #9 seed {{Sm|Zomba}} 3-1 (upset factor 6), #3 seed {{Sm|Light|p=Connecticut}} losing to #14 seed {{Sm|Maister}} 3-2 (upset factor 5), and #4 seed {{Sm|MkLeo}} losing to #5 seed {{Sm|Sonix}} 3-0. Ultimately, only MkLeo failed to qualify for top 8, as he was eliminated by Light 3-1 at 9th.
