On August 9th, 2021 Flare Blitz was force disbanded after BroKen made a [https://twitter.com/BroKenSSB/status/1422887255975288834?s=20&t=tI3dpCO-p2LwlU_B1frpZA tweet] about the toxicity in the server giving them their 3rd strike, this lead to large social media [https://twitter.com/FrBzSSBU/status/1424807498222088193?s=20&t=tI3dpCO-p2LwlU_B1frpZA backlash] saying the words said there were just towards close friends who were not offended despite them removing members such as BroKen who were offended. Shortly after on September 5th, 2021 Pokelam made a [https://twitter.com/iPokelam/status/1434410299927539714?s=20&t=tI3dpCO-p2LwlU_B1frpZA tweet thread] on his issues with the SCS and how it was run with slots, forced activity etc that lead some of the big names in the league disband such as IKON and Tainted Renegades with all of these disbands and events it was a large turning point with top crews in the SCS's history. Flare Blitz later returned under "Sheer Cold" and "Chi-Town Trap Bookworms" but Chi-Town Trap Bookworms/Flare Blitz was once again force disbanded due to raiding a crew server and threating the leader of the crew server with rape and physical threats resulting in Flare Blitz being permanently banned and showing how the original controversy of the crew not caring if other people are offended never changed with [[Smashcords]] bans being given to the players involved.
