SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Dark Samus is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. She is an Echo Fighter of Samus. Dark Samus's appearance in the game was announced on August 8th, 2018.
Differences from Samus
Aesthetics
Dark Samus hovers when walking and running, as opposed to Samus’s more traditional animations.- Dark Samus's on screen appearance has her warp onto the stage from a dark portal.
- Dark Samus features many different animations compared to Samus, which extends to her idle, walking, dashing, and dodge animations, as well as her taunts. Many moves additionally have slight alterations to their animations.
- Dark Samus has a different victory pose, which references one of her attacks in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
