| The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Move proposal
Okay, this one, I will confidently oppose. The big reason is all too simple: a Power Ranking is something that is universally considered to be a proper noun. You only need to look at any external source to find that out. And if nothing else, the PRs are all considered to be names themselves. Sounds and seems weird, but that just seems to be how it is. Definite oppose from me. Vulpine sums it up pretty well. You don't see anyone saying "Pr". While "rankings" might be lowercase in sports, most if not all of the competitive Smash scene capitalize both words. Pokebub (talk) 01:15, 4 March 2018 (EST)
- Oppose If you're using MoS as your reason, then I'd like to point out that it says the following: "Titles should conform to what is most commonly used and understood, not necessarily what is official. In other words, terms should be referred to as they make the most sense within the community (e.g. "tilt attacks" or "tilts" as opposed to "strong attacks")." "Power rankings" is not used universally as a proper noun, as can be seen here, or if you just Google the phrase "Power Rankings," there are numerous usages of only lowercase letters, while the phrase "Power Rankings" is almost always preceded by the name of the organization or league.
The abbreviations thing is unrelated; it's true that no one says "Pr," but people don't write abbreviations in lowercase either. DACUS, SHFFL, and a host of other abbreviations are written in caps, even though their subjects aren't proper nouns.
As for the MoS thing, this is not an issue of whether "Power Rankings" is used more commonly than "power rankings" as a generic term. "____ Power Rankings" is used to name a specific region's PRs, while "power rankings" is used for the term in general. Awesome Cardinal 2000 01:38, 4 March 2018 (EST)
