The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Eh, I feel like doing regions would be overkill. I feel that doing it by game would make more sense, and then maybe adding flags next to it to indicate the region would make more sense. Simply dividing by game is already a good bit since there are so many players out there. Just doing flags would make more sense. It's not necessarily a required fix, but it's not a bad idea nonetheless. [[User:TimmaTurtle|TimmaTurtle]] ([[User talk:TimmaTurtle|talk]]) 14:40, 18 February 2018 (EST) TimmaTurtle

So are there any established standards for inclusion in this list?--Dinodomain (talk) 02:16, 22 September 2015 (EDT)

I also have the same to say about Category:VIP contributors--Dinodomain (talk) 02:21, 22 September 2015 (EDT)
They must consistently place well in both large tournaments and in high importance PRs (like NorCal). For contributors, they can be credited for discovering a groundbreaking technique or play style like Isai did with Falcon. SerpentKing (talk) 02:24, 22 September 2015 (EDT)
It is my opinion that both are complete at the moment. SerpentKing (talk) 02:25, 22 September 2015 (EDT)

Split by games

How necessary do we think this is? I am honestly not sure myself. I can see why we would want to, but I can also see where it doesn't make much difference. Serpent SKSig.png King 11:09, 7 February 2018 (EST)

Oppose as per SK, and also because I think this is pointless busywork with no tangible benefit. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 00:38, 14 February 2018 (EST)
