Mister_D consistently placed 2nd in the largest French tournaments during the first year of competition in the country, got ranked 4th in the 2004 SSBUP rankings, and still placed well in large tournaments throughout 2004 and 2005. Additionally, he was the founder of SSBUP, the largest TO group in the country at the time and the predecessor to LeFrenchMelee, and was the primary TO for a handful of large tournaments at the time, including Smash Fest and Don't Ever Hit Down. All these factors combined make me strongly believe that Mister_D has had more than enough impact on the early French scene to warrant keeping his article.
