He was formerly ranked 1st on the [[Connecticut Power Rankings]], having maintained the top rank in the state for over half a decade. Since he first started playing competitively in 2009, Slox has been a dominant force in Connecticut, widely considered to be the best Connecticut ''Melee'' player of all time. Slox has wins over players such as {{Sm|SFAT}}, {{Sm|Swedish Delight}}, and {{Sm|Rishi}}.
