'''Scamp''' is a retired ''Melee'' player, generally active in the early years of ''Melee's'' life as a competitive game. He mained {{SSBM|Fox}}, though he is known to have played {{SSBM|Sheik}} and {{SSBM|Peach}} at some tournaments. In doubles, he often teamed with {{Sm|Sultan of Samitude}}.

Scamp became inactive in 2004, with {{Trn|Tournament Go 6}} being his last known ''Melee'' tournament appearance. Despite his short career, Scamp's name has become ingrained in the professional ''Smash'' scene; his name is immortalised as part of [[Dave's Stupid Rule]], though the reason for why the rule became associated with him is unknown.

Despite being retired in the ''Melee'' scene, he was active in the ''Smash 4'' scene, primarily using {{SSB4|Yoshi}}, and occasionally enters ''Ultimate'' tournaments.
