'''MikeMonkey''', known in some circles as '''Konkey Dong''' or '''Mike P''', is a Canadian [[smasher]] and member of the venerable Punch Crew. He is considered one of the top-ranked players in the country.

== Background ==

As a member of one of the earliest allied [[crew]]s in the smash community, Mike has been competing at ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee|Melee]]'' since at least 2002. His earliest accomplishments with Punch Crew are well recognized all across Canada as being representative of the weight of professional smashers nationwide and include a recorded 2005 Alberta vs. B.C. crew battle and various local community contributions. 

Mike attended the [[Zero Challenge]] as one of few Canadian participants, finishing in a split for 33rd place in a field of 192 entrants and defeating internationally recognized players including {{sm|KillaOR}} and {{sm|CAOTIC}}. 

Although Punch Crew's general involvement went into decline over the 2006-2007 period, Mike has still participated in several recent events, including a first place finish at the second [[CAST]] event in Red Deer and 5th amongst a field of strong western Canadian competitors at [[Carl's Tournament #3]] in Edmonton.
