== TransCanada Tournament ==
Lanowen was the primary instigator and [[tournament director]] for the [[TransCanada Tournament]], dubbed the largest tournament in Canadian history. 

The event drew participants from all across Canada and culminated in the highly anticipated East Coast vs. West Coast [[crew battle]]s. Incidentally, the West coast was not the best coast.
