'''kysk''', usually spelled '''ｋｙｓｋ''' and pronounced "kee-yo-shee-kee", is a Japanese player who is considered to be the world champion of ''[[Smash 64]]'' and the best {{SSB|Kirby}} main in the world in 2019 after winning {{Trn|GENESIS 6}} and {{Trn|Super Smash Con 2019}}, the 2 biggest tournaments in 2019 and 4 Japanese nationals in a row. His tag is the same in Japanese tournaments. He often choses the red kirby, but uses all different colors and often switches colors between matches. He is also known for his {{SSB|Pikachu}} which he used very often since 2018, especially against Kirbys, as well as his {{SSB|Falcon}} against Pikachus.

==Tournament history==
===Early accomplishments===
At his first 2 national events, [[Kansai 2015]] and [[Kanto 2013]], he got 5th and won [[Waseda Festival 2014]] without top players in attended. 
He improved since, taking 3rd and 4th place at [[Kanto 2016]] and [[Japan Smash Cup 2016]] (getting eliminated by {{Sm|Fukurou}} both times) and won two Japanese majors in 2017, at [[Kansai 2017]] against {{Sm|Gyaki}} and at [[Autumn Kanto Tournament]] against {{Sm|Kurabba}}.
 
On his first trip to compete in the states, he entered [[GENESIS 4]] and placed an astounding 3rd place, taking sets off of {{Sm|Wizzrobe}} and {{Sm|Mariguas}}.
His second US tournament was [[GENESIS 5]] a year later where he placed 5th losing to Fukurou and getting eliminated by {{Sm|KeroKeroppi}}.

===Becoming the best===
In 2018, he got 4th at [[Kansai 2018]] using Pikachu solely (since the tournament rules didn't allow character switching). He then won [[Kanto 2018]] over {{Sm|wario}} in an upset using Falcon and Kirby as well as Pikachu in doubles along with {{Sm|Shirusupu}} playing as Kirby in doubles. It was the start of a winning streak in which he took the 3 next Japanese majors: {{Trn|Kanto Fall 2018}}, {{Trn|Go Owl Cup}} and {{Trn|Kanto 2019}}.

On his 3rd US tournament, {{Trn|GENESIS 6}} he finally got his first oversea victory defeating {{Sm|Josh Brody}} in Grand Finals, but top players who had recently won US majors, like {{Sm|SuPeRbOoMfAn}}, {{Sm|Alvin}}, {{Sm|Wizzrobe}} and {{Sm|Mariguas}}, were not present, so his accomplishment was a bit dampened. 

This changed at his 4th tournament, {{Trn|Super Smash Con 2019}} where - after losing in pools against {{Sm|KeroKeroppi}}'s Pikachu, playing Captain Falcon - he defeated {{Sm|Shihman}} who had upset {{Sm|Tacos}}, then the tournament favorite {{Sm|SuPeRbOoMfAn}} in the Kirby-Pikachu matchup, then he got his revanche on KeroKeroppi with Kirby, followed by a dominant 3-0 over {{Sm|Wizzrobe}} - who had won a major over Peru's top players recently - with Kirby in Winner's Finals and a close 3-2 without bracket reset playing Captain Falcon against his compatriot {{Sm|Wario}} in Grand Finals.
