'''KishCubed''' (August 16th, 1985 &ndash; January 15th, 2005), was a {{SSBM|Sheik}} player from Indiana. His first tournament was in St. Louis, where he immediately made an impact by getting second place over already respected smashers {{Sm|Joshu}}, {{Sm|Ignatius}}, and {{Sm|Snex}}. He was generally considered the best member of the [[Ship of Fools]], except for the occasional loss to {{Sm|KishSquared}}.

Even as KishCubed went through open heart surgery and a heart transplant, his tournament career continued to flourish, often taking Top 3 prizes until his final tournament at Flame of Bowser 3, where he placed 1st, going 2-0 the whole tournament against such players as {{Sm|DSF}}, {{Sm|Eddie}}, and {{Sm|Drephen}}.

He passed away on January 15th, 2005 at the age of 19 from complications following heart surgery and rejection of the transplant. [[MLG]] made a donation in his name to the Make-a-Wish foundation, a group that had touched Daniel's life.

==Trivia==
*KishCubed once went on a quest to eliminate all avatars on [[Smashboards]], with {{Sm|Darkrain}} in particular being one such person to have been affected. However, since Darkrain didn't have an avatar to remove from, Cubed was crestfallen and gave up on his pursuit.
**The night before {{Trn|MELEE-FC1}}, {{Sm|Ken}} insisted his {{SSBM|Luigi}} could not be defeated, with Cubed ending up defeating Ken and told him to change his avatar to {{Sm|Azen}}'s.
