Jv3x3 is an old-school tournament director from Michigan. The commonly used terminology [[JV]] stock, such as a JV 3 stock (as in 2 stocks 0%) was coined by him and was popularized by {{sm|Ken}} and others yelling this term. He hosted some of if not the earliest tournaments in Michigan in the pre-[[MLG]] era of smash, from 2002 on. In terms of tournament results, he got 17th at [[Gettin' Schooled 2]] using Sheik and was a starter of the Mid-West team at [[MELEE-FC3|FC3]] using [[Fox (SSBM)|Fox]]. In this event, he took 4 stocks vs {{sm|The_Doug}} and 1 stock vs {{sm|HugS}} giving the Mid-West a surprising 1 stock lead though eventually the Mid-West lost by 4 stocks.
