Later on, he notably defeated {{Sm|Madrush}} before being eliminated by {{Sm|Zero}} in losers round 2 of his second pool, earning him 33rd place. At {{Trn|Snosa II}}, Jason made it out of pools only to be defeated by {{Sm|KeroKeroppi}} and {{Sm|Shears}}, thus earning him 25th place. At {{Trn|Super Smash Con 2016}}, Jason notably defeated {{Sm|Darkhorse}} to make it out of pools, but was then unexpectedly beaten by {{Sm|$$$ Jim $$$}}. Several months later, at {{Trn|Super Smash Con 2017}}, Jason managed to make it out of placement pools into Division 2 pools where he defeated all his opponents. He moved onto Division 1 pools where he notably defeated {{Sm|The Protagonist}}, but suffered losses against {{Sm|Wangera}} and {{Sm|HAMMERHEART}}.
